In this hands-on class, we will discuss 4 different soap making methods. You will learn the basics of natural warm process soap making, using vegetable based oil. this class will cover basic soap chemistry, lye tools of the trade, colors and scents. We'll start with a high quality, all natural ingredients with your choice of two essential oils or fragrance oils. We'll discuss all the interesting things you can put into your soap (like colorants and oils, etc.) This class was designed with total soap beginners in mind, who are new to using lye(making your own base. All students will take home helpful handouts with instructions, tips, and recipe ideas as well as uncured soap. You will also learn about packaging your soap and know when it's completely ready to use or give away. NO ANIMAL INGREDIENTS!!!! Needed Supplies 2. Large plastic bowls 2.
